SC_117744_01(You open your ears and listen intently)
SC_117744_02Truly awful... \n\nThe further ahead you go, the more horrendous and dangerous it gets. The sound of weeping in the Arcurion Mines was horrific enough...Who knew that meteor that's always appearing...the face...it has human features! \n\nMy god...I'm not sure if I'll get to enjoy a peaceful night's rest ever again. \n\nOhh...
SC_117744_03Very strange... \n\nHow could it be that a person passes through Lathrofea, sees a villager get mauled to death by a giant wolf, and then the next time he visits he sees the very same villager bustling around the village like nothing happened? \n\nAnother Lathrofea resident was recently discovered to be walking around a mere two days after he died. Could it be that everyone in Lathrofea has a twin?
SC_117792_01Dear Lilian Blue: \n\nGreetings my friend. \n\nI came across something amazing in the course my archaeological dig. It's a rune that shares many of the same characteristics of the [209390|Memory Rune] that was unearthed in Faded Splendor, at least if one is to go by the details of that group leader's report. Technical analysis has revealed that the image inside is a journal that belonged to a man who calls himself a rune scholar. Originally, his was a celebrated profession, but under the witch's reign of terror he had no choice but to give up his passion in order to save his own life. The unfortunate thing is, the rune scholar's sister was killed in the course of the witch's attacks. He thus recorded an image of his sister in a rune necklace to serve as a keepsake. Eventually he dropped the necklace while mining garnet, which is how we came to find it. The strange part is: the image inside the necklace isn't the same as what he described in his diary. Please help me look into this matter and figure out what's going on. I thus include the necklace in what I give you.
SC_117809_01Hi! Where are you going? !
SC_117809_02Be more careful... If I hadn't come along, you would have become a hero kebab!
SC_117817_01To Samantha Delintas \n\nGreetings, my friend. \n\nThe road we must traverse to the decisive battle is teeming with the undead. Thus, to avoid needlessly consuming our strength, we will consolidate at the camp you once established as per the original battle plan. It regards to your previous concerns regarding our energy problem, the Heart of Nature has allowed us to make impressive progress. I am happy to report that the magic circle installation has been completed. Feel free to use it!\n\nBy the way! Ailic's Community has acquired a few ancient runes that are said to contain an impressive amount of power. They are definitely of interest to us. If you also like the sound of this, then you know what to do!
SC_117817_02(Listen to Eye of Wisdom battle plan)
SC_117817_03I apologize, but I was duping you before. You see, while you still weren't in my circle of trust, it's natural that I wouldn't want to share my objectives with you. But don't worry, you've proven yourself more than worthy of my faith. I will now be willing to share my real information with you. \n\nYou are already aware of the power of the magic circle in front of our eyes and the one at the front. What energy they can transmit! I need the power of nature, but I'm not just going to hand its strength over to Samantha. No, I'll imbue it directly into the forbidden rune. That rune was taken from the body of Hydra itself, and it teems with a pulsing life force. Thus, our plan will be to summon Hydra's spirit out of the rune and have it assist us in battle!
SC_117823_01To Captain Issac: \n\nGreetings, Captain Issac. \n\nThe path that stretches out before us is littered with unexpected developments. Thanks be to [$playername] that we can get supplies to the front as quickly as possible. I would like to take this chance to submit a report outlining the intelligence that has been provided to me by [$playername].\n\nFirstly, our supply line delays are the result of adventurers soaking up rampant rumors in [ZONE_ISAAC_CAMP|Issac Camp] and being unwilling to move forward. [ZONE_ANGOLA_MINES|Arcurion Mines] seems to be the primary source of these rumors, particularly stories detailing a modified rune necklace. This necklace is apparently in the hands of Ailic's Community at present. \n\nSecondly, [ZONE_STATIC_LATHROFEA|Static Lathrofea]. This 'village' is actually a Demon plot to trick adventurers into becoming food for that witch's pet Wyrm. A Demon that is an expert at disguise was discovered through all this. \n\nThirdly, [ZONE_WAILING_FOREST|Wailing Forest] has been the scene of several surprise attacks on adventurers by corpses. It seems that another Demon is behind this. \n\nFourthly, there is a huge and immensely powerful Harpy near [ZONE_JINNERS_CAMP|Jinners Camp]. We are very fortunate that it hasn't menaced the wider population of adventurers yet, because our present levels of manpower preclude an ability to deal with the monster head on. \n\nFifthly, Demon attempts to cut supply lines to the front. If anything, this demonstrates that Deliya fears adventurer raid groups to some degree! \n\nCaptain Issac, it seems we are standing on the brink of victory! \n\nSigned Alexi.
SC_117824_01The recording rune...To us, it's a rune that is exceedingly rare. But to those who lived one thousand years ago, it was common method of recording images and sound. Back when the recording rune was first unearthed, nobody knew how to make it work. Fortunately, the archaeological team eventually discovered what was needed to activate the rune and play back the images and audio recorded over a thousand years ago. We all owe a debt of gratitude to those archaeological team members. They constantly toiled underground and at their study benches so that we could get a true picture of a time that is now one thousand years past.
SC_117824_02The recording rune necklace...This is an exquisite necklace that is fashioned out of recording runes. Just as researcher Hansen Miller's report points out, the necklace originally belonged to an ancient rune scholar and it contains a recorded image of his deceased sister. However, the image obtained by Hansen Miller's analyzing equipment and the real image doesn't match. This is because the image within the rune is actually of the dead brother, and not his sister. Therefore, to venture a rather bold hypothesis, the rune necklace seems to have been influenced by the energy of some unknown third party.
SC_117824_03When pieced together, information from the archaeological team, recording runes, and the rune necklace paint a picture of a violent past. We now know about the existence of a witch called Deliya who extended a reign of terror across this land, using ruthlessness and brutality to rule over all of its inhabitants. Moreover, she had a brother who possessed dangerous power, but who had since passed away. The strength of this brother is said to approach that of the old Thirteen Circles.

SC_117911_01(Crying) Brother
SC_117911_02...the pets you gave me...I treated them with such care...
SC_117911_03Little Lobay...I helped them cover up the nest, and the little birds can feel my sorrow, crying every night...
SC_117911_04No matter what I'll find a way to bring you back to life...
SC_117912_01Ah! My poor sister! I am a pitiable fool! I accidently lost the necklace that recorded your wonderful existence!!
SC_117912_02Damned witch! Lay waste to towns like it's nothing! Slaughter the innocents who fall in your path! Mine ore! And, as the final insult, she has us build a giant statue in her image!
SC_117912_03I am truly branded by the gods to suffer! A once-respected rune scholar who has fallen from grace to the point of being a captive!
SC_117912_04Thankfully the witch's brother is dead! That terrible Demon King...
